A massive spider web has been discovered in a cave on the Albania–Greece border, astonishing scientists with its sheer scale.
The world’s largest spider web is home to over 110,000 spiders.
This extraordinary colony occupies a vast, continuously dark section of the cave, forming an immense and intricate network.
Researchers reported that the web stretches across 106 square meters along the wall of a narrow, low-ceilinged passage near the cave entrance, consisting of thousands of individual funnel-shaped structures woven together.
