Putin: Claims That Moscow Plans to Attack European Countries Are “Nonsense”

Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed allegations that Moscow is planning an attack on European countries, calling such claims “nonsense.”

Speaking during a 4.5-hour televised marathon program, Putin was asked whether Russia was preparing to launch “new special military operations.”

“If you treat us with respect, just as we have always tried to respect your interests, and if you respect our interests as well, then there will be no operations,” Putin said.
