Airbus Issues Largest Recall in 55 Years

Flights of 6,000 A320 Aircraft Halted

European aircraft manufacturer Airbus has announced that an urgent software update is required for a significant portion of its A320 fleet due to the risk that intense solar radiation could interfere with flight control data.

Following the warning, many airlines worldwide — including Turkish Airlines (THY), AJet and Pegasus — have grounded their A320 aircraft.
