China’s technology giant UBTECH Robotics has taken a major step that could go down in industrial history. The company has officially launched what is described as the world’s first humanoid robot factory with a mass-production capacity of 10,000 units.
Located in the city of Liuzhou in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China, the facility is designed to minimize human intervention and operates on a principle straight out of science fiction: “Robots building robots.”
The factory is reportedly capable of producing one humanoid robot every 10 minutes, marking a significant milestone in the industrial-scale production of humanoid robots.
