Anthropic Signs Agreement to Establish a Consulting Firm in Europe
Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has reached an agreement with private equity investment firm Hg to support the establishment of a new consulting firm in Europe.
The move marks Anthropic’s first initiative to create an independent business that will provide AI expertise and consulting services to companies across Europe, as the company continues to develop advanced artificial intelligence technologies.
The growing trend of AI companies establishing their own consulting businesses is posing a new threat to the traditional IT consulting industry.
The development could have significant implications, particularly for Accenture and the world’s four largest professional services firms, known as the Big Four: Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC.
These companies generate substantial revenue by advising organizations on adopting new technologies and integrating them into their business processes. However, as companies that develop AI technologies directly enter the consulting market, they could emerge as powerful new competitors to this traditional business model.
