"My departure has nothing to do with the Israel-Iran ceasefire. It’s about something much bigger than a ceasefire."

U.S. President Donald Trump left the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Canada earlier than planned, without signing the final communique. Before returning to the White House, he ordered the Situation Room to be prepared and called an emergency meeting with his military and civilian national security team regarding highly critical events and decisions.

Trump criticized French President Emmanuel Macron for being “attention-seeking” and denied Macron’s claim that Trump left early to work on the ceasefire:"Wrong! He has no idea why I’m heading back to Washington. But it’s definitely about something much bigger than a ceasefire."

This statement has sparked widespread speculation. What could be “much bigger than a ceasefire”?

Some are considering the possibility that Trump’s remark might relate to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, especially in light of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statement: “The war ends if Khamenei dies.”
