Trump Says Immigration Will Destroy Europe

During his visit to Scotland, U.S. President Donald Trump made remarks that stirred controversy. Warning that Europe might cease to exist if things continue this way, Trump issued serious statements:

“You'd better get your immigration act together. You won’t have your Europe anymore.”

“You must stop this horrible invasion of Europe.”

Without naming him directly, Trump referenced Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán—who has faced criticism from EU officials and other European leaders for his firm stance against immigration:

“Some people, some leaders didn’t allow it. They don’t get the credit they deserve.”
