Donald Trump shared an AI-generated image of himself as the Pope on his own social media platform, Truth Social — just days after joking that becoming the next Pope would be his "number one choice."
The post comes in the wake of the death of Pope Francis on April 21. When asked by reporters on April 30 in the White House garden who he thought the next Pope should be, President Trump replied, “I’d like to be Pope. That would be my number one choice.”
