Top Countries Where Turks Have Emigrated Revealed

Over the years, Turks have migrated to many parts of the world, forming widespread communities across the globe.
According to the latest data from Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the number of Turkish citizens living abroad has now surpassed 7.5 million.
Germany tops the list by a wide margin.The wave of migration, which began with the guest worker agreement in 1961, has grown into a massive community of around 4 million Turks living in Germany today.
This community serves as a cultural, social, and economic bridge between Turkey and Germany.
In recent years, many well-educated and professionally skilled young Turks have also chosen Germany as their destination of choice.
Following Germany, the countries with the largest Turkish populations are:
France – 700,000
Netherlands – 500,000
United Kingdom – 400,000
United States – 300,000
