Kıvanç Zaimler has been appointed as the new CEO of Sabancı Holding, effective June 1.
The company announced that current CEO Cenk Alper will step down from his position at his own request.
Zaimler has held various positions at Sabancı Holding since 2008 and has served as Energy Group President for nearly seven years. In his new role, he will continue to oversee the Group’s domestic and global energy operations.
Before joining Sabancı in 2008, Zaimler held executive roles in the private sector. At Enerjisa, he led operations in natural gas trading, distribution, and retail, and later served as CEO. He played a key role in the company’s IPO process in 2018.
