The German Military Counterintelligence Service (MAD) has identified that Russian agents continue to enter Germany via third countries.
MAD reported a significant increase in espionage attempts and sabotage activities by Russian intelligence services, stating that the actions of Russian agents have become more intense and aggressive.
MAD President Martina Rosenberg said: “We are seeing a sharp increase in cases related to espionage and hybrid measures. The operations are becoming more intense and more aggressive.”
