Mercedes-Benz’s profit in the second quarter of 2025 dropped by 68.7% compared to the same period last year.

The company’s consolidated profit for April, May, and June was 957 million euros. Revenue fell by 9.8% to 33.15 billion euros.

Due to recent developments in U.S. customs policy, the company revised its business forecasts downward for this year. The automaker expects sales to be “significantly below last year’s level.”

According to the agreement reached between the U.S. and the European Union, the current total U.S. tariff rate of 27.5% on the automotive industry will be reduced to 15%. However, this rate is still considerably higher than before Trump’s tariff impositions.
