People living in Germany have begun stockpiling food and drinks in preparation for possible crises.
In addition to water and beverages, non-perishable foods such as dry goods, canned foods, jarred products, rice, pasta, potatoes, powdered soups, and chocolate are being stored. The ability to store these products without needing refrigeration is important. A cool, dark, and dry environment is recommended for storage.
Experts and some officials in Germany have advised that basic necessities like water and food should be stocked in quantities sufficient for at least 10 days.
