Russia and the world are in shock after over two million classified documents related to Russia’s top-secret hypersonic missile bases were leaked, revealing extensive details about the country's nuclear modernization efforts.
The documents, found in a publicly accessible database, include blueprints and security schematics for Strategic Missile Forces bases near Yasny in the Orenburg region—sites where Russia has deployed its advanced Avangard hypersonic glide vehicles.
Hans M. Kristensen, Director of the Nuclear Information Project, stated:“Until now, we’ve only been able to study these bases via satellite imagery. These unique schematics provide an unprecedented look inside, including underground structures. This is truly unparalleled.”
The leaked files go beyond structural blueprints. They include building layouts, security diagrams, wall signage, military oath texts, and even shoe maintenance protocols.
Additional contents detail the bases' energy grids, IT systems, alarm mechanisms, sensor placements, and infrastructure hardened against external threats. Remarkably, lists of recreational items like gym equipment and board games such as chess and checkers for stationed personnel were also revealed.
