One of Haaland’s first viral moments at the 2026 World Cup came as he left the field, walking with his long blond hair flowing, his neck extended, and his shoulders held high.

In his latest amusing move, Erling Haaland returned to Norway with an unusual souvenir: a stuffed raccoon—and one that was even holding a bottle of alcohol.

In an Instagram post, Haaland shared a photo of himself carrying the raccoon while walking on the airport runway, writing in the caption:

“It followed me all the way home.”

The raccoon that “followed him home” has now completed a long journey across countries and arrived at its new home, carried in its owner’s hands.
