AI Cuts 200 Technology Roles at McKinsey

Consulting firm McKinsey, approaching its 100th anniversary, has eliminated roughly 200 technology positions worldwide as it shifts its focus—like its competitors—toward the use of artificial intelligence for certain roles.

A company spokesperson told Bloomberg: “AI offers an unprecedented level of opportunity and impact for us and our clients. We continue working to make our professional support functions more efficient and effective, including by harnessing the advantages of artificial intelligence.”
